美国心脏病学会第65届科学年会上，INOVATE-HF试验结果公布：一种通过刺激迷走神经治疗心衰的新型器械，未能显著降低心衰相关住院或死亡。试验的联合首席研究员及首席作者、查尔斯顿南卡罗来纳医学院MichaelRobertGold表示：“试验没有达到我们预期的疗效；尽管如此，我们仍然认为这项技术具有前景。我们希望未来找到新的研究方法，包括对试验进行进一步的亚组分析。”

Anewimplantablemedicaldeviceintendedtohelppatientswithheartfailurebystimulatingthevagusnervedidnotsignificantlyreduceratesofheartfailure-relatedhospitalizationordeathfromanycauseinINOVATE-HFstudypresentedattheAmericanCollegeofCardiology’s65thAnnualScientificSession.

“Theresultsarenotwhatwehadhopedfor,butdespitethisdisappointment,westillfeelthisapproachholdspotential.Wehopetofindnewideasandnewrefinementsinthefuture,includingpromisingsubgroupsofpatientswhomaybenefitfromthistreatment,”saidMichaelRobertGold,M.D.,Ph.D.,(ProfessorofMedicineattheMedicalUniversityofSouthCarolinainCharleston)whoisthestudy’sco-principalinvestigatorandleadauthor.
